Comments

I'm sitting at home waiting for a ride to campus because my car won't start. I was looking at blogs. Maybe you people don't understand, but we who write the blogs are encouraged by the comments we receive. It doesn't have to be a well thought out, uplifting, funny, or profound comment. We just like to know people are reading our blogs! Jared's blog was funny, but he only wrote two posts. Miles' blog is always great, but you can tell he gets frustrated with the lack of comments. After I make a post I check incessantly over the next few days to see if I've gotten any new comments. It's so distressing to get only a couple comments for a post. I know my posts aren't all fantastic, but I need to know that at least SOMEONE is reading them. I know that someday I'll receive 0 comments on one of my posts. On that day, my blog will die.

Jacob...I know exactly what you mean. I don't always comment, but when I really like it or agree, I do. I hate not getting comments...so I will make sure that from now on, you always get a comment from me after every post. No matter how irrelevent or small. I WOULD ask for the same courtesy, but I won't.
Sorry about your car buddy...that's crappy.

Don't let it die, man!
I've learned that a lot of people follow my blog that don't comment.

in the words of Kate: "you don't rock for anyone but yourself. that's real star power."

I've gotten 0 comments. And when that happens it says "0 people who love Jen" those are sad days. But I've also recieved 27 comments. It makes up for the days that are lacking. And like Miles said, there are lots of people who read and dont comment.

EVERYONE should have a birthday week and know how to drive a stick! If you don't you should, these things are fun and fun is good! :)
