I was on facebook today reading one of my friend's rants about healthcare. It reminded me of Miles' blog. There are quite a few blogs I read. I enjoy them and I even comment on a few of them, but I never enjoyed any quite as much as Miles' blog. It dealt with important issues that I care about and was still witty and funny. I often recommend people to read a certain post on Miles' blog that I remember because he has the same opinion as I do, but he's much better informed and presents the information more eloquently than I am capable of.
Rebekah, I do enjoy your blog, but you often talk about movies and other stuff like the day crew that I am just not a part of. I do read every blog post you write, but since I'm not at all involved in what occurs or since I haven't seen that movie, I feel completely unable to comment.
Anyway, I looked and saw that the last real post from Miles was almost a year ago back in July. He made three posts since and an aborted side blog with a couple posts on it. It made me very sad. I reread some of Miles posts today and think the world is a darker place without new posts to lighten our way. And yet, can one ask Miles to restart his blog? No, such a thing has to come from the heart and I believe Miles has lost the desire to be a part of the blog world. Maybe if more people had commented. Maybe if we were more supportive. Maybe, maybe, if only, perhaps... We're left only with regrets.

I already tried to get miles to come back. PS. The key to getting comments is to comment on other people's blogs. Then they feel obligated to comment on yours. I dont think miles put in the effort on that front, except maybe for our blogs.
I'm leaving a comment in order to be supportive, because I like to read your posts, as I once liked Miles' posts. They are dust in the wind...a monument to a once proud man, now crushed beneath the shackles of matromony and andropause that have entombed his soul in an everlasting mound of petrified dung from the rectum of broken dreams.
Apparently your post did the job.
Haha! Funny, Jared!
